Overloaded, fat blocked, malodourous, septic wet wells, sumps or pumping stations. These problems result in floods due to obstructed and damaged pumps, and issues with smells in the surrounding area.

The Solution

Install a IWE-Bactaerator, this application system bio-augments the sump by dosing a bespoke cocktail of Cleveland Biotech’s bacteria and growth enhancing nutrient mix, with 240lt/min of air. This will effectively turn your previously foul well into an aerated bio activation unit. It will go some way to reducing septicity in rising-mains and can be used as an alternative to expensive nutri-ox dosing systems.

The Application

IWE-Bactaerator can be installed on any wet-well, sump or pumping station. The housing is located next to the control kiosk, power (240v) is taken from the kiosk. The dosing pipes are then run through the kiosk and the access pipe into the sump itself. The air stones are attached and placed in the bottom of the sump, the liquid dosing tubes are optimally located. Simply switch on and leave it. The unit will run unattended for 1-3 months. Cleveland Biotech’s own service engineers will maintain the unit supplying parts and consumables as part of the service package.
