IWE CC8 Alkaline Chelant Cleaner
[su_note note_color=”#e5f2ff” radius=”10″]IWE CC8 is based on a chelating agent and has been developed as a general purpose membrane alkaline cleaner for use with Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration membranes. IWE CC8 will remove organic and inorganic based deposits. Application
IWE CC8 is highly effective when used as a 2-3% solution at the highest pH recommended by the membrane manufacturer and should be alternately soaked and recycled through the membrane system for at least 3-4 hours. Working with enhanced temperature will also improve the cleaning performance. After cleaning, the membrane system should be thoroughly flushed out, until the pH values of the feed and the discharge are the same. IWE CC8 can be diluted and is fully miscible with water in all proportions
Health and Safety
IWE CC8 is a formulation containing ethylene diamine tetracetic acid. It is compatible with carbon steel and commonly used materials of construction. Observe all safety precautions shown in the material safety data sheet, available on request.
Packaging
Available as 25 ltr keg, 250 ltr drum or 1000 ltr IBC.
The shelf life is two years under normal storage conditions.
