IWE CC11 Membrane Cleaner (Alkaline Powder)

Application

IWE CC11 is highly effective when used as a 2 – 3% solution at the highest pH permitted by the membrane manufacturer. IWE CC11 should be alternately soaked and recycled through the membrane system for 4 – 6 hours. Cleaning with warm cleaning solutions will considerably improve the cleaning performance. After cleaning, the membrane system should be thoroughly flushed out, until the pH values of the feed and the discharge are the same. Cleaning solutions using IWE CC11 have a tendency to foam. IWE CC11 can be diluted and is soluble to ~27% w/w in water at 20ºC.

Health and Safety

IWE CC11 is a powder blend of mixed cleaners, including a surfactant, fully biodegradable sequestrant and inorganic phosphate. It is compatible with carbon steel and commonly used materials of construction in membrane plants and CIP installations. A material safety data sheet is available on request.

Available as 25 ltr keg, 250 ltr drum or 1000 ltr IBC.

The shelf life is two years under normal storage conditions. Ensure the drums remain well sealed and the Genesol 703 remains dry.
