IWE AC2 Calcium Sulphate Antiscalant

 

[su_note note_color=”#e5f2ff” radius=”10″]IWE AC2 has been developed as an antiscalant for use in Reverse Osmosis and Nano-Filtration systems operating with feed-waters containing high levels of Calcium sulphate. IWE AC2 is also effective against Calcium carbonate and other commonly found scaling species. The strong threshold properties shown by IWE AC2 against Calcium sulphate and Calcium carbonate enable membrane systems to be operated at their optimum recovery rate. This reduces the amount of feed water needed and the volume of concentrate requiring disposal. Application

IWE AC2 should be dosed continuously to the feed water upstream of the cartridge filter. Typical dosage rates are 3-5mg/l. Under NSF listing the IWE AC2 dose rate in the feed water should be less than 5mg/l in potable water systems. IWE AC2 can be diluted and is fully miscible with water in all proportions.

Health and Safety

IWE AC2 is a non-hazardous, synergistic blend of phosphonates and carboxylic acids and is fully compatible with carbon steel and commonly used materials of construction. Observe all safety precautions shown in the material safety data sheet, available on request.

Packaging

Available as 25 ltr keg, 250 ltr drum or 1000 ltr IBC.

The shelf life is 2 years under normal storage conditions.
