Purolite Ion Exchange Resins – Inert / Spacer Resin
Purolite® IP1 | Purolite IP1 is an inert plastic material with a specific gravity lower than that of water capable of floating just above the ion exchange bed. |
Purolite® IP3 | Purolite IP3 is an inert polymer in the form of spheres with a narrow size range. It has been especially designed for use in the Trilite system where it acts as a spacer to facilitate separation of the specially graded Trilite cation and anion components and thereby prevent cross contamination in the regeneration process. |
Purolite® IP4 | Purolite IP4 is an inert polymer in the form of cylinders. It has been especially designed for use in the Fluidlite process (packed or partially packed and fluidized beds operated in the up-flow counterflow mode). |
Purolite® IP7 | Purolite IP7 is an inert polymer in the form of spheres with a narrow size range. It has been especially designed for use in the Trilite system where it acts as a spacer to facilitate separation of the specially graded Trilite cation and anion components and thereby prevent cross contamination in the regeneration process. |
Purolite® IP9 | Purolite IP9 is a rigid compound based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It is used as a bottom layer for ion exchange resins in water demineralization, softening, dealkalization and other special applications. |
