IWE AC5 Calcium Phosphate Antiscalant
[su_note note_color=”#e5f2ff” radius=”10″]IWE AC5 has been developed specifically to prevent calcium phosphate and calcium carbonate scaling in Reverse Osmosis and NanoFiltration systems. IWE AC5 permits system operation at higher pH and recovery than other antiscalants; thus reducing the amount of feed water, reject water disposal and acid for pH control needed, resulting in significant capital and operational cost savings.[/su_note] [two_third] [product_table totals=”false” page_length=”false” reset_button=”false” search_box=”false” columns=”image, name, price:Price Inc VAT,add-to-cart” sort_by=”price” show_quantity=”true” category=”iwe-ac5″] [/two_third] [one_third_last] [/one_third_last] [two_third padding=”0 10px 0 0″]
Application
IWE AC5 should be dosed continuously to the feed water upstream of the cartridge filter. The dose rate of IWE AC5 is dependent on the calcium and phosphate content of the concentrate stream, as well as pH, temperature and ionic strength. We will be pleased to provide advice on the most suitable dose rate for a particular water analysis and set of operating conditions. IWE AC5 can be diluted and is fully miscible with water in all proportions.
Health and Safety
IWE AC5 is a non-hazardous, synergistic blend of phosphonates and carboxylic acids, compatible with carbon steel and other commonly used materials of construction. A material safety data sheet is available on request.
