IWE AC4 Broad Spectrum Antiscalant
[su_note note_color=”#e5f2ff” radius=”10″]IWE AC4 has been developed as a broad spectrum antiscalant for use in brackish water Reverse Osmosis and NanoFiltration systems. It is highly effective at preventing the formation of inorganic scale thereby reducing the frequency of membrane cleaning and replacement. IWE AC4 allows systems to be designed and operated at their optimum recovery rates, reducing the amount of feed water used and concentrate to be discharged. Consequently significant savings can be made with both capital and operational costs.[/su_note] [two_third] [product_table totals=”false” page_length=”false” reset_button=”false” search_box=”false” columns=”image, name, price:Price Inc VAT,add-to-cart” sort_by=”price” show_quantity=”true” category=”iwe-ac4″] [/two_third] [one_third_last] [/one_third_last] [two_third padding=”0 10px 0 0″]
Application
IWE AC4 should be dosed continuously to the feed water upstream of the cartridge filters. Typical dosage rates are 4-8 mg/l. IWE AC4 can be diluted and is fully miscible with water in all proportions.
Health and Safety
IWE AC4 is an aqueous solution of neutralised phosphonic acid that has been classified as safe to use in potable water applications. IWE AC4 is compatible with carbon steel and all commonly used materials of construction. A material safety data sheet is available on request.
