Reverse Osmosis

Reverse osmosis or (RO) can be described as a procedure whereby pure water and toxified water become divided via the usage of semipermeable membrane(s). This method is undoubtedly a necessary technique employed in the majority of water purification systems.
Reverse Osmosis is considered to be a highly effective approach to elliminating water impurities, such as:

Toxic Heavy Metals ie Lead and Radium

Chlorinated Pesticides

Turbidity

Dissolved Solids

Reverse osmosis is employed in many applications including waste water purification, dialysis and hydrogen production. Additionally it is employed througout the food industry. Industrial Water Equipment have a standard range of reverse osmosis units as well as a standard range of modular pre treatment and post treatment modules.

Most of our standard reverse osmosis range can be upgraded at later date simply by retrofitting extra membrane modules or pre-treatment modules in order to increase flow. All our reverse osmosis systems are manufactured within the UK and spares can be obtained easily via our website.

IWE have a strategically placed maintenance team around the UK and Ireland who can service and repair all makes and models of existing reverse osmosis units.
