Ion Exchange Resins - Purolite

You are here : > Ion Exchange Resins > Purolite > Chromatographic Resins

Applications

Purolite® PCR642Ca

SAC GEL - CHROMATOGRAPHIC GRADE, CA++

Purolite PCR642Ca is a strongly acidic gel-type cation exchange resin with a polystyrenic matrix which offers separation of both polar and in certain cases, non-polar chemical compounds. High speed efficient separation is achieved even for compounds of higher molecular weight as a result of its special bead distribution, high moisture content, and excellent mechanical strength. It is one of a range of Purolite "Separlite" ion exchange resins. Purolite "Separlite" ion exchange resins for chromatography are high quality crosslinked poly(styrene)-based cation and anion exchangers with closely sized spherical bead form, suitable for separations which depend on relatively small differences of affinity of the materials being chromatographed. They are designed mainly for use in ion exchange columns and industrial plant. They are not for capillary use in e.g. HPLC equipment.
