Membrane
Configuration
All standard membranes have a taped wrapped
outer, coded with the suffix 'T'. For
high pressure usage a fibreglass outer
wrap is applied, suffix 'F'. Ends are
available with either flush cut design
or external permeate design.
A series 400 elements feature
400 square feet of membrane surface area,
providing increased membrane packing density,
and reducing capital costs by 10 - 15%

The A-Series or proprietary thin-film
reverse osmosis membrane elements are
characterized by high flux and excellent
sodium rejection. This series meets the
requirements of a majority of pure water
applications and retro fits all other
similar membranes.
AG 99.5% high rejection range
AG high rejection brackish water elements
are selected when high rejection is desired
with a typical operating pressure of 15
bar. These elements allow moderate energy
savings and are considered a standard
in the industry.
Specifications are based on a 2,000 mg/L
NaCI solution at 15bar operating pressure,
25ºC, pH 7.5, 15% recovery, after 24 hours.
Individual element flux may vary.

AK 99% rejection range
AK Low Pressure Brackish Water Elements
are selected when high rejection and extremely
low operating pressures are desired. These
elements allow significant energy savings
since good rejection is achieved at operating
pressures as low as 7 bar.
Specifications are based on a 500 mg/L
NaCI solution at 8 bar operating pressure,
25ºC, PH 7.5, 15% recovery, after 24 hours.
Individual element flux may vary 15%.
